To ask the Manager for a progress report on the pilot programme to provide green bins in Dublin City Council apartment complexes.
CITY MANAGER’S REPLY
It is anticipated that a pilot scheme of green bins will be rolled out in selected City Council flat complexes when the new contractor takes over the waste collection.
It is expected that the new contractor will take over the collection of waste from the flat complexes from the end of January 3013 and that following a settling in period, a pilot project of green bins will be introduced.
