The update for this morning is below:
Having put in place a comprehensive strategic operations programme to deal with the anticipated high rainfall events over the past few days, Dublin City Council has scaled back on our high level alert status with effect from 10 am this morning to coincide with the expiry of the Met Éireann’s rain warning. The City Council’s rivers and streams were constantly monitored over the past few days with regular updates being made available by the City Council to the public.
Between 5 and 10 millimetres of rain is expected today and the City Council’s regular monitoring of the drainage network will continue.
