Greyhound €100 Payment – Some Progress

Due to pressure from the public and from City Councillors, Greyhound Recycling and Recovery has agreed to remove the €100 upfront payment requirement from the charging regime which they have in place. They have now agreed a system which will allow customers, in respect of year 2012, to pay in two instalments via a top-up system.

Customers can sign up to this two instalments payment agreement either on line at the Greyhound web site or by completing the “top up” form which is in the information pack forwarded to all former Dublin City Council waste customers. In the event that customers no longer have the form, they can get a further copy by calling the Greyhound Customer Service number 1890 989998.

While still not as good as the 4 installment regime under Dublin City Council, this is at least progress on one front. Now Greyhound just need to start communicating with their customers and start collecting waste on the days they say they will.
