Dublinbikes hits the 3 million mark

Cllr. Kieran Binchy was delighted to hear that the Dublinbikes scheme hit the 3 million mark during December 2011. He stated: “As a user of the scheme, I am happy to be part of such a large pedal-powered movement. I believe that this milestone is a testament to the growing popularity of cycling as a means of transport in Dublin City. But having the scheme is not enough; we need to continue to work to provide the infrastructure that will make Dublin a safe and pleasant city to cycle in.”
